Jay's  Avant-garde approach to rhythm, sense of melody, and genuine fun tone make this cut quite playlist friendly.

This piece is not built for every vocalist, with such heavily rooted meaning, vivid lyrics, and historical impact, Strange Fruit needs to be handled with dignity and a heartfelt tone. 

This joint has all the pieces... Slick lyricism, Funky instruments, and a memorable hook. 

Heartbeat, feeling the weight of it metaphorically is a concept I’ve never quite thought of.
