It doesn’t have to be intentional. People will instill their fears into you when they haven’t been able to accomplish their own goals.
With authority, we have the California-based artist Upper Reality. The song I Can is one of her signature pieces on the 2020 EP - Body Hi. On this track upper reality takes the time to flex all she has accumulated over her life making music. The track mainly expresses how malleable she is towards a special somebody. “I can be whatever you want me to be!“ She’s another one of the few who can do it all.
The song feels like I’m sitting in on a session of Jpper Reality just vibin to 8 of herselves. It seems personal even though she’s talking about a man, I say that because all of the lyrics are based on what she can do. The creativity behind this song is unique, not only is it factual. Masego’s I Do Everything, Is a great example of why the songs stand alone in their approaches. She plays every instrument that I can think of on the top of my head. I mean, that’s not easy. She creates songs playing off her strengths. I’m not sure if this is her guitar sample but every element in this composition sounds like her. It’s a shame she only has one voice.
