SWANO'S 10 [VOLUME 3] PT.23

Curated by Lukey Lenz
Here at SwanoDown, we listen to a ton of music on a DAILY basis. And during these days, of course, there are standout tracks. Below you'll find the 10 compositions we feel you should check out tonight, (or soon). We find these artists to be the most cutting-edge. And oh yeah, this is in no particular order... You decide!
Compositionally elevated songs by artists like Kevin Julien, Tom Leary, and Jonas Magnus, are all featured today.

Dune Castle- Wise Fool

A cowboy… all alone in lawless land. Can he prevail against his foes? Will he be the victor of this tale? Only time will tell. Take a peek into this 3 minute short story, presented by Dune Castle.

Oren Eytan- The Sun Light

How often are we lost in the quickness of the days? The time is ever ticking as we worry, laugh, and love. It’s just important to be present sometimes, and songs like “The Sun Light” by Oren Eytan highlight that fact of life.

The Hidden x Frances The Mute- Florida

Like watching the sunset after a busy day, “Florida” has a calming and accomplished feel to it. Having a high pitched whine that calls you to take a break. Enjoy this production by The Hidden and Frances The Mute.

Kevin Julien- Mellifluous

Like a montage scene in a heart wrenching sports drama, Kevin Julien presents us with a fast paced, challenging, piece that will trigger your imagination.

sluggg- If I

A few years ago I was very into alternative music. It was my favorite genre at the time because of artists such as Tyler the Creator, Rex Orange County, Mac Demarco, and Boy Pablo. This song really reminds me of the tracks that made me fall in love with synth, percussion, and ghostly vocals being paired with each other. Check out sluggg’s “If I”.

coldbrew- dreams come true

Like his name, grab your favorite coffee and have a morning vibe session with coldbrew’s “dreams come true”. This is a really good one to peacefully begin your daily routine!

Cosmolite- Suburbs

If you’ve ever seen a timelapse video, you would see Cosmolite’s “Suburbs” pairs with it swimmingly. Seeing the movement in the clouds, rain, droves of people, and the evolution of something like a plant you witness the elements culminate resulting in a beautiful product, such as the composition presented here.

Pianotic- Finally Found You

The sounds, other than the keys themselves, are reminiscent of a boat wading in a body of water, gurgling and bouncing the boat back and forth in the small waves. This track tells a story of longing and searching for something. What are any of us searching for?

Jonas Magnus- Changing Tires

Take a ride with Jonas Magnus. With rich strings and full percussion, “Changing Tires” feels like the weather is hot and you’re fixing up your Harley to ride through a Texan desert.

Tom Leary- Gone

You never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory. Those things we remember most help guide us in life. Tom Leary’s “Gone” is a real sentiment to that feeling of having lost something. Hold on to those memories and appreciate them.
