SWANO's 10 [Volume 3] pt.10

Curated by Grayson Jones
Here at SwanoDown, we listen to a ton of music on a DAILY basis. And during these days, of course, there are standout tracks. Below you'll find the 10 compositions we feel you should check out tonight, (or soon). We find these artists to be the most cutting-edge. And oh yeah, this is in no particular order... You decide!
Compositionally gifted artists like Kassamonno, FrickMadeIt, and CaliCronk, are all featured today.

Tom Forte- When I’m Feeling Down

A classic hit chord on high, surrounded by organized percussion leaves minimal space for pessimism. Let no lyrics subconsciously fuel your imagination while listening to this.

Macabe- Anything You Want

The plea for reasoning in relationships will only end up in a battle of push and pull. Electric bass and atmospheric chimes bring out the acoustic solo… This sound is anything you want.

CaliCronk- Greens

Simple, consistent, and wholesome. This record interpolates things that are good for you (like greens) into a relaxing piece of instrumentation and loops.

Kassamonno- New Moon

The progressive chords head downwards. The relaxing Lo-fi track captures the indolence of a moon not showing for the night.

Groove- Ohyeah!

Driven with the flyest 808 you will hear on a Funk instrumental in 2021, Groove makes for great intro music and can be in the conversation of a Shade45 Sway In The Morning Freestyle!

UTO Paradise- Drink up, You Schmock!

Fret by Fret the soul drains out at a moderate head-nodding tempo. An oasis of reverb occasionally emerges to push you a little deeper into this metaphorical drink, tended to by UTO Paradise.

Haji Outlaw- After Good Sex (Leave U Alone)

Big brass, concert snares, coupled with the chopped and screwed loop makes for a rather dashing experience. In my own words - Sex for the cochlea.

Medium Wave- Easy

Melancholy yet uplifting. Steadfast yet long-drifting. Easy going, articulate, and long winded.

Danny Short- Hannah

Give it time, listen with patience, the blend of irregular rhythms and arpeggios will soon make sense. Jazz is free and put into a pleasant perspective.

FrickMadeIt- Question

A classic sound, intertwined with more Lo-fi for 2021 and beyond. A perfect beat to reconcile.
