I can not understate how instantly mesmerized I was by the sound of Tilla's voice.
I was slightly reminded of the music of Dido as I listened to Champion. Though, wihout a doubt, Tilla's timbre is one of her own. You can easily get lost in her transparent lyricism, chilled vocals, and laidback approach to instrumentation.
