Samuel Preston IV, is making leaps and bounds in the fashion world with his unique approach to modeling and styling. Excelling past what the expectation of a designer in 2024 may be, Sammy believes that true style goes beyond clothing; it’s an art form. “If you can draw or paint, you can put an outfit together,” Samuel declares, emphasizing the connection between artistic creativity and fashion.
For Preston, mental and physical preparation is key to his success. He incorporates exercise into his routine, ensuring he's ready for the demands of modeling and styling others. But what truly sets him apart is his philosophy of “Owning it.” He explains that no matter how stunning a designer’s creation might be, it’s the confidence of the person wearing it that makes it truly shine.
During New York Fashion Week, Preston’s standout posture and unconventional poses captivated the audience. Among hundreds of models, he managed to create a momentous presence, distinguishing himself from the crowd. His advice to aspiring models? “Step outside the box… nowadays everybody got the same look.” He also stresses the importance of punctuality: “Always be on time.”
