nxtime- Greek Tragedy (Track Review)

Written by Imani Wj Wright

We’re not talking about Homer’s The Odyssey, or Sophocles’s Antigone, regarding Greek Tragedies today. [N]xtime gives relatable songwriting, and a fun listening experience on their single, “Greek Tragedy”. So, are you ready to boogie?

Who doesn’t like to feel good? Right? Ironically, nxtime’s record has a soundscape that can easily evoke a smile, and get you off your feet. The guitar, beautiful melodies, and soulfully delivered vocals really take this piece to the next level. The percussive bounce is enticing as well, and adds a commercial/pop pinch. At times, the overall piece has the feel of a Robin Thicke record.

If you're looking for a piece to sing to your lover who’s been subtly annoying you all day- this is the joint for you. It can let you express your frustrations a bit, and maybe make you realize it’s not all that serious!
