“If you celebrate your differentness, the world will, too. It believes exactly what you tell it—through the words you use to describe yourself, the actions you take to care for yourself, and the choices you make to express yourself." ― Victoria Moran
As most of us have listened to music, and our personal favorite genres for years, it may easily start to feel cookie-cutter and maybe even generic at times. This is not to say the music we enjoy isn't good or anything, but styles can become conventional. While you listen to the work of artist Mugugu, there is nothing conventional about his approach.
On his latest track, 'Classic Trap', Mugugu approaches every step, and every rhythm on his own terms. The instrumental is airy and sits in the air for his audience, leaving a heartwarming, but simultaneously suspenseful into. Once he begins to lay his vocal on the record, it can first seem jarring as your ears adjust to his style and cadence. But it doesn't take long to begin moving and feeling the groove that he creates vocally. Mugugu's style takes its own path on tracks like 'Ms. Blue Eyes' as well.
Mugugu creates on his terms, his way- fearlessly. You have to respect that in an artist!
