Lizzy Paris Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight (James Taylor Cover) [Track Review]

Written by Chris Yangello

As a current college student, final exam week is always something that we dread each and every semester. Between the library study sessions, the cramming of assignments, and lack of sleep, tension definitely flows through the air. However, as I was entering my second year of college I knew exactly what I needed to do to keep myself in check mentally while achieving the good grades that I'm striving for.

The answer to be lies within listening to good music. I’ve always been someone who struggles to work in silence, so I always enjoy playing music to help me get through whatever it is that I am doing. I was recently lucky enough to come across an artist by the name of Lizzy Paris. Lizzy recently released a song titled “Don’t Let Me Be Lonely” which fits the perfect description of a study song, party song, or chill/relaxed song! Lizzy Paris showcases her immense vocal talent throughout all three minutes and five seconds of the song, telling a story of her desire to, you guessed it: not be alone.

This track is a song that I believe a lot of people can resonate with, as well as connect with when doing something rather mundane such as studying for a final. I’m elated that I found out who Lizzy Paris was, and I’m sure you would be too.
