Some solid Jazz work is coming directly at us on this cut.
What I like about this record the most is how authentic and warm the composition is. This piece has all of the elements of good authentic Jazz. The running bass line, accompanied by the action-packed percussion takes me back to my days studying the depths of the genre in college. And what can't be forgotten are the bassy, but scatty vocals that we hear on "Golden Lady".
This track is phenomenal listening music, and would be a treat to hear performed live.
Have a good listen
