There are several forms of art that we enjoy from dance, to painting, to music… Our love for those different forms tend to be unwithering, and we have a great appreciation for the aforementioned. But of course how could we forget about music? 

Almost everyone has a favorite song or an unforgettable moment when that song was playing. Though, do we ever take time to think about “how” that song got in front of you, or “what” the creator had to go through to get to that point? Bring a solo musician is one of the toughest jobs on the planet, and breaking through the industry is tough. 

So, when artists like JACKBOIBAY accumulate millions of streams, and co-signs from legends like Snoop Dogg, it’s that much more impressive. Not only has his record “Jingle Bells” been listened to over 12,000,000 times on Spotify– his hometown Oakland, California has also supported him through his journey. Having been rapping for the past 17 years, and also experiencing homelessness, JACKBOIBAY is a story of inspiration and sheer doggedness.
