Meet Gemtunes Music! A Trio of artists which hails from Corpus Christi, Texas. David Brandon, Jay Phaze & King Gem bring together a sound that is unique with witty punch lines and euphoric melodies throughout their music!
Jay Phaze is a VP/Artist/Co Executive Producer/songwriter at Gemtunes Music. Phaze started out as a 15 year old freshman who discovered his sound by freestyle with his friends at Carol high school in Corpus Christi, Texas. Phaze never had any intention on chasing a music career, but as time progressed his interest in music started to peak.
Shortly after he began writing music, and recording, where he then discovered he had something special which led him to pursue music fully. Jay Phaze quickly gained the respect from his peers and his local audience which ultimately led to music becoming passion versus a hobby. Since then Phaze’s confidence rose as an artist in which he was convinced that his way of creating music was innovative and carried a unique sound that is unlike the rest.
David Brandon, the youngest of the trio at only fifteen years old. Brandon is an Artist/Co Executive Producer/songwriter at Gemtunes Music.
Since the age of four Brandon began to create a fanbase for himself. Brandon says he gained inspiration from the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson. At the age of five, David Brandon began performing at local restaurants, fundraisers, backpack giveaways, talent shows, followed by other local events. Brandon’s talent started to elevate as he began performing inside of local Bars, Clubs, Car Shows, as well as Teen Night at a very young age. Fast forward to 2017, where Brandon teamed with GEMTUNES MUSIC and on March 3rd 2020 David set the stage on fire and gain the massive exposure around Texas area with his single “Mixed Feelings”, which led him to his first radio interview with “Z95” a popular radio station in Corpus Christi, Texas. After “Mixed Feelings” Brandon followed up by releasing his lasted Album titled “!?” which debuted November 23, 2020 and now currently being streamed on all platforms. It’s safe to say this young star is moving in the right direction and with the help of his older counterparts, Brandon’s name will become a household name very soon.

King Gem, the CEO/Executive Producer/Co Writer and founder of GEMTUNES MUSIC in 2015. King Gem plays a pivotal role in producing for local artist.
Fast forward to 2017 where King Gem meets Jay Phaze in a local studio in Corpus Christi, Texas where they develop a strong connection which later led to them becoming partners and the rest was history. That same year, David Brandon was introduced to King Gem by Jay Phaze. King Gem took both artist under his wing and gave them all the knowledge and gems it takes to become successful in this industry. Today, these three are and undeniable force in the music industry looking for a break through. They’re working on releasing their Debut Album, set to be released at the end of the year.
