Through a collaboration with Sarah Kehrer, Emmanuel Whajah met her brother, Thilo Kehrer. This connection would become an important one in Emmanuel's journey.
Kehrer plays for the German DFB national team and simultaneously plays for Paris Saint Germain with players like Neymar Jr. or Kylan Mbappe. Though, through the little brother of Emmanuel– David Whajah were both made known.
Thilo liked the work and wanted Emmanuel to come to Paris for a shoot. So they made an appointment. Emmanuel flew to Paris for a few days and spent the time with the footballer in order to produce video content. After sever successful days, Thilo Kehrer wanted to keep the collaboration going and the two met again a year later in Berlin. This second meeting was once again for another shoot. Thilo then proceeded to share this on his social media platforms. His fans reacted exceedingly well to what was produced. The images were also used by the German youth photo award as a cover, as well as by Nike as an advertising message "play inside, play for the world."
Today, Emmanuel continues to work with athletes such as Daniel Kofi Kyereh from the 2nd Bundesliga, who is currently playing very successfully for St.Pauli.
