CEE BLU- Trying (Track Review)

Written by Grayson Jones

You know what grinds my gears? When you put your best foot forward, and it seems everyone has to point out flaws in your performance.

How hypocritical of me being here at Critiques by SwanoDown, but Cee Blu and EDY have me deep in this song. I listened to Trying today, and have no doubt that this is one of the most relatable songs I have experienced. I won’t explain the simplicity of the song,  but the general theme is being under appreciated.

For something that regularly upsets you, the vibe of the song has more pop energy. I don’t feel angry when I listen to this piece. I more so feel in someone’s face pleading my case on how “I’ve been putting all my focus on you.” But it's fun ‘in your face’.

From New Zealand with love, Cee Blu spends her time staying fashionable and close to her music. Her music has a tight knit personality, from what I can see, her creative passion can derive from a number of places, one being her personal well-being. Typically the most authentic way to make a song, Cee Blu concisely makes it her own. With style is Trying  by Cee Blu. Out now!
