Warren- Goin Down!
I'm just getting back from Vegas on a journalism business trip. The days were long, and so were the nights. In my time there, I had a ton of experiences in nightlife at a variety of places- so I can tell you, I've heard a ton of vibes and music on/off thr strip. I can tell you, this song by Warren is something you could turn out at around 4 or 5am and just let yourself go. Put down whatever hair you have and let go of all your worries for 2:44. Enjoy
Dukes of Roots- Money (Pink Floyd Cover)
It's a hit! Let me start by saying this. "Money" is one of my favorite songs of all time! I've listened to this record only God knows how many times. It's some of Pink Floyd's best work, and one of David Gilmour's best singing performances. I used to ask myself: "What could make this song better?" Well, I think I figured it out- give Dukes of Roots this record and Reggae it up! This Caribbean swing to such a classic record is an absolute beauty to listen to. I've had this on repeat all morning- YES, MORNING! Check it out
Pavy- All the Things Your Man Won't Do
I'll be the first to say, and I was just talking about this recently- I can't stand when guys "dirty mack." There's never a need for you to be speaking badly about another man when you two have a similar love interest. It's a grimy and bottom of the barrel way of attempting to win someone's heart. However, the way Pavy is approaching the situation on this record, i may have to give him a pass. This is a very dope piece of music. The record is smooth, and I think many of us can hear the resemblance to Mac Miller in the rapping vocal tone and delivery. Check this track out
Awesimon- WAITING FOR YOU
This is a piece that will keep your mind floating all night. The instrumentation moves calculated and slowly, the direction is as abstract as the artwork above. It's almost as of Awesimon constructed this record to let your mind wander. Let your mind race here
