4 More 4 You: A SwanoDown Series [5th Edition]

Shxno- Showcase

I listened to this record with my lady, and all I wanted to do was grab her hand and start dancing. Shxno's voice isn't just entertaining, it makes you appreciate your partner, look them deep in the eye and have an intimate moment. With this record playing in the room, Shxno is setting the mood to showcase your affection. " The way she whyne this low waist/ My baby dance na showcase/
My Gyal is pro mate/ My baby girl is not your mate."

Daniel Beja- Road to Istanbul

I'll always remember being 7 years old and hearing the word "Istanbul" for the first time. I was playing a James Bond 007 game on my Nintendo Gamecube and i was always struck by the way it sounded. So when I saw "Istanbul" in the title of this Beja piece, I was quickly hooked- but the music is what kept me there. The title is so fitting as this composition truly does feel like a journey. The realism in the journey is what's so captivating. The ups and down, the triumphs, the slow brewing change in zest- you're listening to brilliance through strings. Take the trip

Nightrider- Jiva

This may look odd at first glance- but the reason I'm into this record is due to how off kilter and honestly unconventional the vocals are here. This record feels like Nightrider and Antony Otega threw on some headphones on at 2am, and said: "Let's record a song." The freedom and almost stream of conscious approach to this song is quite liberating. Check it out

mango heist- at first

Aside from how damn cool this cover art is, mango heist gives us one of the smoothest tracks to ever grace your speakers. This House track has an undeniable bounce to keep your head nodding and your feet stomping (with class). The horn on this is as raw as raw gets regarding its play/syle. Imagine being in a club, nothing but joy fills your body, and the sweet sounds of House and Jazz emerge- BLISS
