Chris Jobe- Talking With Your Eyes
The movement/pace of this piece is stimulating alone. Do you see the pupil in the cover art of this song? That's how your eyes will be after listening to this record- now just your eyes, but your brain will be WIRED. Chris Jobe does a phenomenal job with controlling the pronunciation of his lyricism, while also steadily creating beautiful melodies. It's a joy to listen to. Check it out
Patrick Koper- Canopy Thief
Ahh yes, Canada! A place where they speak English. but let's not forget, some of country speak French too! So it's only right that Patrick Koper gives us a taste of both! Feels like you're in the middle of a movie while you're listening to "Canopy Thief." It feels like one of the records you hear playing in the middle of two genius criminals planning a multimillion dollar heist. It's a fun record to move along to. The guitar is gorgeous, nearly playful at times, as Koper's voice overlays the magic. Take a spin
Las Palabras- Escudo y Espada
I'll be completely honest here. Is this one of the best vocal performances I've ever heard? No. But does it work nicely within the midst of this track? Hell yes! This guitar driven track is perfect for the dance floor on a warm night. Outside maybe? In doors with the roof open? All I know is, thee tiki fires have to come out, and the stars have to be seen. You may fall in love with this. There's some banging synth on this joint too. Really cool instrumental solos. Dance to it
Kelli Holiday x Alex Cameron- Online Jesus
The title caught my attention as I was quickly reminded of "Personal Jesus" by Depeche Mode. The styles of these two records are vastly different, but they have an obvious common denominator. This track takes a look at the online dating scene, and oh my freaking goodness, it is forever catchy. Who will be your romantic savior? Turn this on and find out
